Detox Water for Effective Weight Loss

We all know how healthy and important to our body water is, especially when one's trying to lose weight. Do you know what might be even better than plain water? Detox water! This beverage created much hype when it comes to the best ways of losing weight. Although it sounds quite fancy, we're still talking about regular water mixed with sliced fruit, vegetables, herbs, etc. By adding all the healthy food in it, you give your drink an extra boost which will help your body to get rid of all of the toxic stuff. How to make detox water?

As you may assume, making your own detox water is quite simple. You just need (warm or cold) water and to pick out the fruit, vegetable or herb that suits you and slice them up and mix into water. You can even choose the amount of the ingredient as you wish. The more ingredient – the stronger the flavor. If you opt for cold detox water, it's a good idea to put it in the fridge for a couple of hours so the flavors would infuse better.

CUCUMBERS

Cucumbers are one of the most used ingredients in detox water because they're so refreshing and filled with fibers, but low in calories, which makes them a perfect option when dieting. Besides the mentioned, cucumbers are rich in vitamin B, potassium and magnesium – which is why they're great for lowering the blood pressure. They are known for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

STRAWBERRY

Strawberries are great for improving your heart's health and lowering blood sugar. Also, they are filled with vitamins and antioxidants.

RASPBERRY

Since they have strong cleansing properties, raspberries are a good choice for digestion problems.
